Pneumatic distributors

Pneumatic distributors are the components that are part of the action channel of the automated systems, being the interface between the command part and the operative part. They are the components which are distribute the energy of the compressed air to the actuators according to a low power command signal. Actuators can be electric motors, pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, electromagnets or heating resistances. Pneumatic distributors enable either the control of the motion of a rod of a cylinder or the rotary motion of a hydraulic or pneumatic motor. The pneumatic distributors also cause air flow between their open paths, closing or changing internal connections and allowing the change of the direction of the working fluid, independent of the pressure in the circuit
